On 20 February 2019, the third Bilateral Maritime Forum Between The Republic of Indonesia and the Kingdom of the Netherlands was organized in Jakarta, Indonesia. In the morning, views on bilateral maritime cooperation were exchanged and future direction of the Bilateral Maritime Forum. In the afternoon, three sessions were organized for the relevant stakeholders regarding (1) maritime infrastructure, (2) capacity building, vocational training, research and education and (3) shipbuilding & maintenance, repair and overhaul. In the capacity building session, this was chaired by STC Nestra, were a presentation regarding capacity building by STC International in Indonesia was provided, as well as fruitful discussions about possible ways of collaboration with Indonesian education/training institutes in the fields of maritime.
