A group of students from a university in Peru visited STC International and STC Group as part of an academic mission in the week of 21 to 24 of January 2019. The Universidad del Pacífico is an academic community specialized in degrees and programs related to economics, law and management both in the private and the public sectors.
During the academic mission, the students participated in the following activities:
- Masterclasses provided by STC International on: Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Chain Management and latest developments in multimodal transport, and Sm art Ports
- Practical class provided by STC Group through a demo using the Transport Chain Simulator
- Visit to the port area of Rotterdam and specifically to locations such as: Futureland, APMT Terminals, ECT Delta Terminal B.V., EIC Mainport Rotterdam and Rail Service Center
- Technical visits at several companies in the port of Rotterdam, such as: Neele-Vat Logistics, Europees Massagoed Overslagbedrijf (EMO), SCA Logistics B.V. Rotterdam Terminal, Geodis Logistics Netherlands B.V.
- Lunch with a representative of the Embassy of Peru in The Netherlands
The academic mission received very positive reviews.
